9.5: Interlude 9: Prolationem

I have written about love before (A Look at Love), but this particular Author has summed things up quite nicely.

The Quote:

“Love is not a whim. Love is not a flower that fades with a few fleeting years. Love is a choice wedded to action, my husband, and I choose you, and I will choose you every day for the rest of my life.”

My Thoughts:

In the novel, this quote is a wife speaking to their husband, but what is said rings true no matter who the people involved are. A lot of people see love as just possessing a deep affection for someone, and while that is true, love is more profound than that.

This quote denotes a conscientiously made choice to stick by the person they love no matter what. Call me what you want, but I think that is the most valuable thing anyone can sincerely give to another person. Until next time, I am Nolan Ex Tenebris.
