11.5: Interlude 11: Prolationem

This quote comes from a person whose career and life ended sooner than it should have.

The Quote

“A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer.”

– Bruce Lee

My Thoughts

I think that this quote highlights the difference between intelligence and wisdom. After all, just because someone is intelligent that does not mean that they cannot do foolish things. Wisdom or being wise serves as a balance between what is considered intellectual and whatever word you want to choose to represent its opposite.

Wisdom, no matter how you acquire it, grants the ability to understand the core of a question, and when someone sticks to only what the intellect can offer, they can miss the opportunity that only a balance can provide. Until next time, I am Nolan Ex Tenebris.
